Even oily skin can be dehydrated 🔬especially after stress, weather shifts, or over-exfoliation.

✨ November is National Gratitude Month ✨
This year, when I think about what I’m most grateful for… it’s my baby’s strength and resilience. 🩷

I’ve tried to write this caption so many times and every attempt ends in ugly crying. Because gratitude hits different when you’ve watched someone you love go through so much and still find their light again.

It’s easy to feel like the world is heavy right now 🙇🏻‍♀️ and some days it really is. But gratitude doesn’t erase the hard stuff 🫶🏽 it just reminds us there’s still beauty tucked between it all. 🌙

So this month, I’m making a daily effort to reflect 🪞 even in small moments 📝 on what I’m grateful for. You’ll see my “gratitude notes” up above in my IG stories 💌 join me if you’d like.

And on a personal note… I didn’t want to share until now because it’s been such a journey 💓but my kiddo is back, working, thriving, and continuing to heal. She’ll need surgery around Christmas for a torn ACL 🙏🏽 but she’s meeting it with such courage. Cherry Angiomas: The Little Red Dots Nobody Asked For 👀✨

What they are:
Cherry angiomas are totally harmless, non-cancerous skin growths made up of tiny blood vessels (aka capillaries that decided to go rogue). They’re also called senile angiomas or Campbell de Morgan spots (fancy old school names, same lil’ red dot).

Think of them as “red moles,” except they’re not actually moles since moles are pigment-based, these are blood vessel based.

What they look like:
• Color: Ranges from firetruck red 🚒 to deep purple 🍷
• Size: Usually teeny (a fraction of a millimeter to a few mm) but can get bigger over time
• Where they pop up: Most often on the trunk, arms, shoulders, or legs but honestly, they can crash the party anywhere on your body
• When they show up: Most people start seeing them after 30, and they multiply with age (because apparently adulting wasn’t hard enough)

Why they happen:
No one knows the exact cause, but they’re linked to:
